In the essay "Where I Lived and What I Lived For" by Henry David Thoreau, he talks about all the different changes around him. He talks about the railroad and the post office and how its moving to fast for him. According to Thoreau he says all we need is simplicity. I think that in his own ways he right that technology advance way to fast to keep up sometimes. I also think that advancement in technology like social media is an amazing thing to be able to contact with people and here the news instant.
