In the article "Sex, Drugs more common in Hyper-texting Teens" by Dr. Scott Frank is about a study on the effects texting has on teenagers. The purpose for this article was to show that in his survey of more then 4,200 student he has found that the kids that text over 120 messages are more likely into sex and drugs. The writer claims that the hyper texters are also involved in online activities as well. The majority of them are teenage girls. He also claims that parents need to take more involvement in there teens live by checking there phones and internet sites to prevent teen sex, drugs and other risky behaviors. The relationship with this article compared to our assignment show that majority of teens today text and use online chats other then calling but the ones that seem to spend more time with this usually end up with serious problems.
